Remember our veterans on Veterans Day

In honor of my fellow servicemen and women, those who have laid down their lives, and those who bear the lasting marks of battle, we pay tribute.

On this Veterans Day, let us pause with solemn respect for those brave souls who have faced the fierce winds of war with steadfast bravery. My own blood was spilled on the distant soils of Vietnam, a testament to the price of liberty. In honor of my fellow servicemen and women, those who have laid down their lives, and those who bear the lasting marks of battle, we pay tribute. Our remembrance extends beyond a single day, for every moment of freedom we enjoy is woven with the sacrifices of these gallant men and women.
